Vocalist Hixy Wild had a chat with me recently.
LJ DeWitt: Please introduce yourselves individually and tell me your roles in the band. Hixy Wild: I'm Hixy Wild and I'm the lead vocalist of The Lethal Idols, Martin Kayth is on guitar and Mark Mapey on drums. We're actually without a bass player, we're looking for one but not missing a single show! LJ: Currently you're based out of Milan. Is that where you're all originally from? Hixy: Yes we all live, more or less, near Milan. Without any doubt it’s one of the best places for music in Italy. LJ: Opinion on your local scene? Favorite venue to play? Least favorite venue? Hixy: The local scene is full of cool bands, to be honest. One of the best venues is Officine Sonore, located in Vercelli, where we already played 2 times as an opening act for Towers Of London (UK) and the legendary L.A. Guns (US). There's no least favourite venue, we only had good times in every venue where we played, for now! LJ: For those in the band who are tatted, pick one of your tattoos and give me the story behind it. Preferably pick one with an interesting story. ;) Hixy: Between video game tatts, some about music, some about life. I personally pick my back piece, a wolf head, old school style. It fits perfectly with the way I am, ready to fight, solitary, but ready to lead a pack. LJ: Any crazy band girl/groupie/hook-up/ex-GF stories you're willing to tell? Hixy: This is a good question! xD Well, girls are crazy and we all know it, some are writing poems to take our attention and others book us shows hoping for a fuck. It's fun, let them continue... we can't say too much! xD LJ: What are 3 albums you want to be buried with? Hixy: This is so hard but I'll say: Deadboys In Trash City - AlleyCat Scratch, Rest In Sleaze - Crashdiet, and One Sick Posse - Glamour Punks.

LJ: Most rockers want to go out in style. If you got the choice, how would you want to die? Hixy: Something epic, not during a show. Maybe after, you know what's happening after a show!! LJ: Off of your new EP, "Here Come The Idols", what is your favorite song to play live? Hixy: Personally "Out For You" is a blast to sing, we usually play it as the second track of the set and it gives me enough nerves, yes, nerves, to start having a great time on stage. LJ: Who takes the longest to get ready before the show? Hixy: Me and Martin Kayth! It requires some time to get the Lethal Look!!! xD LJ: Have you ever "lost" someone in the band right before a set? If so, where were they and how'd you find them? Hixy: It happens all the time with Mark Mapey, who gets lost on smoking or drinking a beer, who the fuck knows where! LJ: Finally, are there any last facts, statements, or words you'd like to leave with your fans? Hixy: First, a big thanks to Meryl for this opportunity!
